This month, I officially launched Crinkle Cat Events.
For nearly two decades I have organized and hosted AB/DL events across California. I’ve watched people light up when they finally get to wear diapers openly, play, regress, or simply exist without apology for a few precious hours. I’ve also watched the same people board planes or drive for hours afterward, already missing the feeling of being fully themselves in a room full of people who understood.
That longing is the reason Crinkle Cat Events exists.
Why This Business, and Why Now
When I attended BabyFurCon for the first time in 2024, I saw something that crystallized everything I had been thinking for years. Attendees weren’t just having fun for a night. They were beaming. They were living as their authentic selves for multiple days in a row. They were openly padded, openly little, openly adult baby, without the constant calculation of “how long can I stay like this before I have to hide again?”
That kind of sustained, unapologetic joy is rare. Most of us get it in fragments: a few hours at a con room party, a private meetup that ends too soon, a hotel room that still feels temporary. The desire for something longer, closer to home, and more intentionally held is real.
Crinkle Cat Events is my answer to that desire.
What I Offer
For a fee, I will travel to any part of North America (United States and Canada) to host an event or a series of events for the AB/DL community. These can take many forms:
- Room parties and suite gatherings at furry conventions
- Nightclub or venue takeovers designed with AB/DL comfort and safety in mind
- Private gatherings in homes or vacation rentals
- Multi-day or multi-event weekends that create a more sustained “safe space” experience
For a smaller fee, I also offer consultation. If you already have a location, a group of friends, or a local scene and simply want experienced guidance on logistics, safety planning, volunteer coordination, or atmosphere, I can help you shape it.
The core promise is simple: extended periods of intentional safe space, tailored to the kind of environment the hosts and attendees actually want—whether that’s heavily play-oriented, more social and low-pressure, or somewhere in between.
The Problem I’ve Seen Too Many Times
Organizing room parties “in a vacuum” is exhausting. Volunteers, often the same handful of dedicated people, get stretched thin planning, shopping, setting up, hosting, and cleaning. By the time the party starts, many of them are already running on empty. Guests have a good time, but the energy fades earlier than anyone hoped. The night ends, and everyone goes home wishing it had lasted longer or happened more often.
That pattern is not sustainable, and it is not fair to the people who keep showing up to make space for the rest of us.
How Crinkle Cat Events Does It Differently
I plan events six months to a year in advance whenever possible. That timeline allows for real collaboration instead of last-minute scrambling.
I work with local volunteers rather than replacing them. I also partner with AB/DL-friendly LGBTQ+ nonprofits where it makes sense, and I hire local AB/DLs as independent contractors (Form 1099-NEC). The goal is not to parachute in and take over. The goal is to bring structure, experience, and resources so that the people who already care about their local community can shine in the spaces they help create.
When locals are paid for their labor and given clear roles, the events last longer, feel more intentional, and leave people less burned out. When the planning starts early, the atmosphere can be thoughtfully designed instead of improvised under pressure.
The Bigger Vision
I want the AB/DL community to have access to safe spaces that are not limited to a handful of annual conventions or the rare private party that manages to come together. I want people in different regions of North America to be able to experience something closer to that multi-day BabyFurCon feeling without having to fly across the country every time.
Safe space should not be a once-a-year luxury for those who can travel. It should be something we can grow, sustain, and share more widely.
Why Work With Me
I bring nearly twenty years of hands-on experience hosting in California, a clear-eyed understanding of volunteer management, and a genuine desire to see more of us thrive in our authenticity. I am not interested in performing community for clout. I am interested in building practical, respectful, consensual and lasting infrastructure so that more people can have the experiences they have been wishing for.
If you have been wanting a longer, better-held gathering in your area…
If you have ideas for an event but need experienced support to make it real…
If you are a local who wants to contribute and be compensated fairly for your time and skill…
I would love to hear from you.
Crinkle Cat Events exists to help create the kind of extended, intentional safe spaces our community has always deserved. Let’s build them carefully, collaboratively, and across more of the map than has been possible before.
The joy I saw at BabyFurCon does not have to stay confined to one weekend a year in one location. We can carry pieces of that feeling closer to home.
I’m here to help make that happen.
