A Day in the 24/7 Diapered Life of Crinkle Cat

Hello, my delightful darlings!

Crinkle Cat here to give you a sneak peek into a day in my life as a 24/7 diaper wearer. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to embrace the crinkle life full-time, you’re in for a treat! Today, we’re going to explore the ins and outs (and the crinkles, of course) of my daily routine, with the goal of helping normalize the experience.

So, grab your favorite stuffy and let’s dive right in!

Morning Crinkles

Whether or not I wake up dry in the morning, simply having an overnight diaper on is comfortable. A lot of the time, it’s not even a sexual thing. I feel complete, and everything I’m wearing is a fun necessity.

As the sun peeks through my curtains in my bedroom, I wake up to the familiar rustling sound of my overnight diaper. I like to start my day with a big stretch and a wiggle, feeling the soft padding beneath me. Because the diaper moves around with me in bed, even when I provide myself a snug fit, I still like to reposition and reapply the tapes if possible (the hook-and-loops are a godsend).

But first things first, it’s time for a change! I slip into something more comfortable (and dry!) before heading to the kitchen for a small breakfast.

Breakfast and Reflection

With a fresh diaper on, I’m ready to tackle the day.

Most of the time, I don’t eat breakfast. Technically, I should. And usually, one is supposed to eat three meals a day — breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Crohn’s Disease, and any misstep I make in my diet and eating habits will trigger a flare-up episode. Eating early in the morning is not something my stomach and bowels particularly enjoys. If I need to eat something to keep my strength up, I’ll have a small morning snack.

I very rarely drink coffee in the morning for the same reason. In order for me to wake up and feel refreshed, I will get up early in the morning and chill in bed for a while until I change and take a shower.

This is also an opportunity for me to process whatever I need to process, and work toward clearing my head so I can start the day with a clean slate. Having gone through a lot in the past few years, I’ve made a concerted effort to prioritize my mental health over everything else — so I pride myself on taking time in the morning to decompress, pause and reflect. Highly recommended.

Working and Crinkling

Now that I’m fueled up and inspired, it’s time to get to work.

I drive to daycare work five out of seven days of the week. I have a large Northshore duffel bag that I keep with me in the trunk that’s fully stocked with diapers, underpads, waterproof changing pad, baby powder, wipes, disposable bags, and vinyl gloves. Also, I’ll find some room to carry bottled water or an electrolyte beverage for hydration. I carry this bag with me everywhere I go. More often than not, I don’t need to change while I’m at work or running errands. But given my medical conditions, there will always be a chance that I will need a change — and perhaps a change of clothes! I have spares.

I spend the morning typing away at my daily tasks, making sure I get as much done as I can early to make myself more available to handle anything else comes my way. Though I’m not in a retail position, I do work in a retail environment, so I have to put on a different hat for every occasion. I have to be ready for anything, including physical activity. Wearing diapers, especially thick ones, has inspired to be more careful and deliberate with my physical movements.

I’ve been wearing diapers to work for a while now. No one has noticed. And if they noticed, no one has said anything. And if anyone were to say something, I’m fully and mentally prepared to respond, “Yes, I wear, because my stomach can be very unpredictable.” But more importantly, I feel comfortable. And while it’s true that I have a large bladder and don’t have frequent voids throughout the day, my co-workers use our only restroom a lot. When I need to go, I just let it happen. And when I need to change, I’ll take the diaper bag out of the trunk and change inside my car, and out of sight from people.

When I’m not at work, I plan out my day. I try to be as physically active as I can be, but I often find myself resting and relaxing a lot these days. Having had a rough couple of years, I relax when I need to relax, and will push myself out to the world when I need a breath of fresh air and to socialize. I’m still trying to find the perfect balance for my daily life, but diapers are something that sets the foundation for me to focus on everything else.

Lunch and Leisure

After a productive morning, it’s time for lunch! I usually opt for something simple, like a salad or a sandwich. Would I love to snack on some dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets or a classic PB&J? Sure! After I came back from BFC 2024 and had their dinner buffet, I’ve been more open to having meals that appeal to my once-dormant littlespace. But I try my best to not mix business with pleasure, especially when I need a diet to sustain myself for the rest of the day.

Eating is one of my favorite pastimes. If I need to cook, I’ll cook. But I definitely like going out to eat. For years, I used to be very conscious about going out to eat somewhere with friends while diapered. But because I take care of my hygiene and change regularly, because I have the confidence to maintain healthy habits, I’m not bothered by it anymore. When I was younger, I had experiences with a few babyfurs who took the liberty to use their diapers in public spaces that caused an odor nuisance — and I would be so repelled by that, I never wanted to be that guy. Now that I found a hygienic rhythm as a 24/7 wearer, I’m a lot more comfortable in my own skin and diapers.

Afternoon Adventures

With my energy levels restored, I will either power through the rest of my work shift, or venture out into the world for some errands or social time. Being a 24/7 diaper wearer doesn’t hold me back — in fact, it makes every outing a little more exciting! I might walk around downtown or hit up the bar for a pint and a treat. And, of course, I always make sure to have my diaper bag nearby for changes on the go.

Wetting in Public

Wetting my diaper in public has become second nature to me. I simply find a quiet, discreet spot to stand or sit, relax, and let it flow. Practice makes perfect, and the more you do it, the more comfortable you’ll become. Here are some tips to that helped me gain confidence:

  • Wear headphones and listen to music or a podcast to distract yourself and drown out any noise
  • Choose a secluded spot, like a quiet corner in a park or a single-occupancy restroom
  • Wear dark-colored pants to minimize the appearance of any wet spots
  • Remember that most people are too focused on their own lives to notice what you’re doing

Messing in Public

Messing my diaper in public can be more challenging, but it’s still manageable with the right preparation. Here’s how I handle it:

  • Time it right: I try to go before I leave the house or find a quiet, discreet location when I feel the urge
  • Use the restroom: If possible, I find a single-occupancy restroom or handicap stall for privacy
  • Clean up quickly: I bring wet wipes and disposable bags for a quick, discreet cleanup
  • Stay calm: Remember that accidents happen, and most people are understanding and non-judgmental

Dinnertime and Relaxation

As the day winds down, I like to cook up a comforting dinner before settling in for some relaxation. This might mean watching my favorite cartoons, playing video games, or even doing a little writing. Whatever I choose, I make sure it’s something that brings me joy and helps me unwind.

I like to unwind and dive into the virtual world of VRChat. This is where I can truly embrace my babyfur identity and connect with like-minded individuals who accept diaper usage without any social stigma. It’s an incredibly liberating experience that I look forward to every evening.

Once I’ve slipped into a fresh, crinkly diaper and made myself comfortable, I log into VRChat and join my favorite furry hangout spots. The beauty of this virtual reality platform is that it allows me to create and customize my avatar to reflect my fursona. Looking forward to completing the outfit with a diaper and more adorable furry features. In this world, I’m me.

What I love most about VRChat is the sense of community and acceptance it provides. Here, wearing and using diapers among others is completely normalized. I can openly discuss diapers, share experiences, and even roleplay diaper changes with other furries who understand and embrace this aspect of our lives. It’s a judgment-free zone where everyone can be their authentic selves, and that’s incredibly refreshing.

While chatting with my furry friends, I often find myself wetting or messing my diaper naturally, just as I would in real life, but without the balancing act one does when wearing 24/7. The difference is that here, I don’t have to worry about what others might think. Instead, I’m met with understanding, support, and some teasing. It’s a unique and comforting environment that has helped me grow more confident in my diaper identity and connect with amazing people from all over the world.

So, if you’re a babyfur or diaper lover looking for a place to belong, I highly recommend giving VRChat a try. It’s more than just a game; it’s a community where you can be yourself, make lasting friendships, and enjoy the freedom of embracing your diaper life without fear of judgment.

Bedtime Routine

Finally, it’s time for bed! I slip into my coziest onesie, change into a fresh overnight diaper, and drift away. As I drift off to sleep, I can’t help but feel grateful for my crinkly lifestyle and the comfort it brings me.

And there you have it, folks! A day in the life of Crinkle Cat, your friendly neighborhood 24/7 diaper wearer and babyfur author.
