Joining NorthShore Care Supply as an AB/DL Storyteller

As many of you know, I’ve poured my heart into writing AB/DL stories and creating content for our community for years. One of my biggest goals has always been to align my passion with something more — to work with or for a company that truly gets us. Not just for the paycheck, but to connect the community I love with a brand I can genuinely stand behind.
That’s why I was beyond excited when NorthShore Care Supply opened applications for AB/DL storytellers to help create authentic content for their site. I applied without hesitation. And when the offer came through while I was at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2026, I was over the moon. I’m now one of three writers they’ve brought on board, and I couldn’t be happier to be working alongside talented creators like Mutt the Deer and Horatio Husky — two writers whose work I’ve admired for a long time.
What It’s Really Like Working with NorthShore
People often ask me: “What’s it like working for NorthShore Care?” I can’t spill every internal detail, but I can share my honest personal experience in the abstract.
NorthShore stands out because they treat incontinence products as a normal, everyday part of life — nothing to be ashamed of or hidden away. They’re respectful about medical needs and don’t glamorize things in the way some parts of the AB/DL space do, but they’re also fully aware that many of us wear diapers as part of our lifestyle and routines. They don’t shy away from the word “diaper” — and that matters. No awkward euphemisms like “protective underwear” to make things sound more clinical. They meet us where we are.
What impresses me most is their outreach. NorthShore doesn’t just show up at major AB/DL and furry events — they’re visible and supportive. They’ve sponsored smaller events and room parties, generously providing product and showing up in ways that feel genuinely wholesome and community-minded. In a market full of companies that either ignore us or treat us as an afterthought, NorthShore’s approach feels refreshing and respectful.
The Heart Behind the Brand
I’m not based at their headquarters (yet — I’m hoping to visit Lake Bluff, Illinois soon), but everything I’ve seen points to a company rooted in real empathy. Founder and President Adam Greenberg started NorthShore Care Supply on July 2002, after watching his father battle cancer and his grandmother deal with the effects of a stroke. Back then, quality products that preserved privacy and dignity were hard to find. So he built a company to change that.
Since then, NorthShore has helped over 2.5 million individuals, caregivers, and families manage incontinence with dignity. While the AB/DL community wasn’t the original focus, the company has shown a real willingness to learn and grow. Bringing on three AB/DL writers is part of that. We’re helping them understand our world better, and in turn, we’re getting a deeper appreciation for the massive amount of work — manufacturing, logistics, quality control, marketing — that goes into delivering the reliable, high-quality diapers we’ve come to expect.
Why I’m Proud to Be Part of This
This partnership feels special because it’s built on mutual respect. NorthShore isn’t pretending to be something they’re not. They make excellent incontinence products first and foremost, but they’re also choosing to show up for our community in meaningful ways. And I appreciate how they’re willing to actively listen to customer feedback to make their products even better.
Full disclosure: I’m not being paid to write this post. However, I do earn a small commission if you use my links to visit NorthShore and make a purchase. If my words have helped you feel more confident about trying their products, I’d be incredibly grateful if you checked them out through my links.
Whether you need premium protection for medical reasons, lifestyle comfort, or both — NorthShore consistently delivers on quality, comfort, and discretion. Their team gets it, and they care.
If you’ve been on the fence about trying NorthShore, or you’re looking for a company you can actually trust in this space, I can wholeheartedly recommend them. They’ve earned my respect as both a creator and a member of this community.
