Crinkle Cat here, and I’m thrilled to unveil an exciting new business model that I believe will benefit AB/DL and babyfur content creators and bring us all closer together. I call it the Crinkle Cat Creative Collaborative (C4). Rollout of C4 will start in the beginning of 2025.
Current Model and Its Evolution
Currently, you can access my stories digitally starting at $9.95 a month. A portion of these proceeds goes towards commissioning artists to illustrate scenes from my work, based on their personal vision and interpretation. As our subscriber base grows, so will the number of commissions, and beginning in 2025, the monthly rate will gradually increase to facilitate the creation of detailed illustrations, comics, and graphic novels.
The Crinkle Cat Creative Collaborative (C4)
The heart of C4 is a collaborative effort between writers and artists to create a financially lucrative series of AB/DL and babyfur . Here’s how it will work:
- Artist Selection and Creative Freedom: Before a story is released publicly, a chosen artist will receive the manuscript to read and select a scene to illustrate, based on their unique artistic vision. This approach provides artists with the creative freedom to draw what inspires them, rather than fulfilling specific requests.
- Optional Story Collaboration: Artists will also have the option to collaborate on the written story itself, allowing their visual storytelling skills to influence and enrich the narrative.
- Empowering Other Writers: C4 also extends an invitation to other AB/DL and babyfur writers to create content for Crinkle Cat Tales. By contributing your stories to our platform, you’ll have the opportunity to reach a larger audience and opt into our profit-sharing model. This means that as our subscriber base grows, so will your earnings.
- Scaling Monthly Rates: To accommodate and fairly compensate the growing number of writers and artists contributing to C4, monthly subscription rates will gradually increase. This ensures that our collaborative remains financially sustainable and beneficial for all creators involved. We will communicate these rate changes transparently and in advance to our subscriber base.
- Supplemental Income and Job Creation: The primary goal of C4 is to provide artists with supplemental income around their passion for AB/DL and babyfur art.
- The Netflix of Babyfur Content: Ultimately, I envision C4 as a Netflix-style content system for babyfurs. Subscribers will gain access to a diverse library of illustrated stories and comics, with regular updates and new releases.

As C4 grows and generates consistent revenue, I have my sights set on an even more ambitious goal: forming a publishing company dedicated to AB/DL and babyfur content. This venture would provide a paid venue for published collaborations between writers and artists, offering even more opportunities for creators to showcase their work and earn income.
- Manuscript Submissions: Writers will be able to submit their manuscripts for review, and if approved, their work could be featured in anthologies or even standalone books.
- Compensation: Approved writers will receive compensation for their published works, providing yet another avenue for creators to generate income within our community.
- Artist Collaboration: Approved manuscripts will be matched with artists who will bring the stories to life with their illustrations, fostering even more creative collaboration within C4.
