Connecting on Bluesky with the AB/DL and Babyfur Community

Today, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for each and every one of you who has followed me over to Bluesky!

As many of us migrate from Twitter, it’s been an absolute joy to see familiar faces and meet new friends in this fresh, new space. It feels like we’re all coming together in a cozy, new playroom, ready to share stories, laughter, and maybe even a few snuggles! Big thanks to Cargo Woozle for placing my account in their Bluesky Starter Park and follow recommendations.

One of the most emotionally rewarding experiences since joining Bluesky has been reconnecting with old friends. You know who you are – those of you I haven’t heard from in a while, but who found your way back into my life on this new platform. It’s like finding a long-lost stuffie behind the couch – instantly comforting and oh-so-wonderful!

I will admit that I will get in my own head sometimes and think: Oh. This person isn’t talking to me because I screwed up somewhere in past communications. But it turns out that, for a lot of us at least, that life got in the way. And many of us are dealing with our own things. It’s just that Bluesky became a moment where all of us gathered together almost simultaneously in one place to look around and figure out where everyone was. It’s been great to see our community come together, even though we did so as a result of reaching a critical flashpoint with X/Twitter.

Seeing your faces and reading your messages has filled my heart with so much warmth and fuzzies. It reminds me of why I started writing in the first place – to connect with others, to share experiences, and to build a community where we can all be ourselves. It’s nice to know that people are still reading and enjoying my work, so that’s nice!

But Bluesky hasn’t just been about reconnections – it’s also been an amazing place to meet new friends! I’m blown away by the love and support I’ve received from new followers who appreciate my stories and want to be a part of this community.

One of the cool things to have happened from the Bluesky follow migration was to secure several story commissions. The money I earn will be going toward my car repairs, and I will be able to fulfill my promise of donating a portion of my proceeds to PACI, the non-profit organization that runs BabyFurCon.

To all my new friends, welcome! I can’t wait to get to know you better, to hear your stories, and to share more of my own with you. Together, we can make Bluesky a wonderful, supportive space for all adult babies, diaper lovers, and babyfurs.

So, from the bottom of my crinkly heart, thank you. Thank you for following me, thank you for your support, and thank you for being a part of this amazing community. Whether you’re an old friend or a new one, you mean the world to me.

Let’s continue to connect, to share, and to grow together.

Stay crinkly, my friends!

Love,
Crinkle Cat 😽
