Texas Furry Fiesta 2026: Elevators and Diaper Changes

Texas Furry Fiesta 2026

Texas Furry Fiesta 2026 (March 26–29 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel) delivered an unforgettable weekend for the furry fandom — and for those of us in the overlapping AB/DL, babyfur, and diaperfur scenes, it felt especially welcoming.

Even though TFF is a general furry convention, the babyfur and diaperfur presence was strong and comfortably visible. Walking the halls with my Marci and Tavi Munk con badges drew smiles rather than stares. One sweet highlight: bumping into Tavi by the elevators and receiving a badge from him personally. Moments like that remind us why we show up — the unexpected kindness and sense of belonging.

The Elevator Situation: A Real Challenge for Everyone

If there’s one thing nearly every attendee will remember from TFF 2026, it’s the elevators. Lines stretched for up to an hour, and the instructions from staff were often confusing and contradictory.

At one point in the con, I was told not to use lobby elevators, to take the escalator to the second floor, then stairs to the fourth — only to be redirected again. One frustrated coordinator even insisted I ride an elevator down before going back up. After multiple loops, I ended up back on the ground floor and had to climb stairs all the way to my 11th-floor room.

This wasn’t an isolated story. I watched the same tired faces waiting in long lines or breathlessly climbing stairs between events. For someone already managing insomnia and fatigue, these logistics made it harder to visit friends, attend parties, and fully enjoy the con. Many others clearly felt the same exhaustion.

Despite the hurdles, the spirit of the convention remained high. Attendees stayed enthusiastic, determined to connect and make the most of their time together.

A Gold-Standard Diaper Change Experience with Robby Fops

One of the most meaningful moments of TFF 2026 for me was receiving a diaper change from Robby Fops. With over 20 years in the AB/DL and babyfur community, I’ve given and received many changes — but Robby set a new standard.

He took 15–20 minutes per person, creating a space of deep relaxation, vulnerability, and dignity. There was never any rush. Every step emphasized mutual consent and respect. Even though I don’t typically identify as “little,” Robby’s caring approach gently guided me into a peaceful little headspace. I felt truly cared for, seen, and appreciated — my blood pressure dropped, muscles relaxed, and breathing slowed. It was a powerful reminder of how transformative a mindful, consent-focused interaction can be.

That experience inspired me when I hosted my own room party later in the weekend.

Hosting a Room Party: Creating Safe Spaces and Connections

When it was my turn to host, I tried to carry forward the same energy Robby demonstrated — treating each diaper change as an opportunity for connection rather than just a quick task. I served as master of ceremonies while changing several people, all while many attendees were already worn out from the elevator saga.

The party was short, but the atmosphere felt safe and pressure-free. People could explore at their own pace, on their own terms. I had the joy of educating a curious AB/DL ally (who doesn’t wear himself) about the submissive and emotional layers of diapers. He listened thoughtfully, applied what we discussed, and left feeling more comfortable around the community.

Younger AB/DLs got to experience consensual kink spaces without pressure. Everyone seemed to appreciate the respectful, judgment-free environment. When it was time to wrap up, the reluctance to leave was obvious — so I stayed flexible with the end time.

These moments reinforced why I enjoy stepping into a “dad” role at events. There’s deep satisfaction in creating spaces where people feel loved, respected, and safe enough to surrender control. I love rewarding that trust by helping partners relax fully — metaphorically and literally — and guiding them into that comforting submissive feedback loop of being kept, cared for, and cherished in diapers.

Lessons from TFF 2026: Leadership, Consent, and Community

Texas Furry Fiesta 2026 reminded me that logistical hiccups can’t dim the power of genuine human (and furry) connection. The real magic happened in quiet, intentional moments:

  • Treating vulnerability with dignity
  • Prioritizing consent
  • Creating spaces where people feel they truly belong

As someone who has been active in the AB/DL and babyfur community for decades, I’m proud to help foster environments where trust is earned and cherished. Whether you’re a little, a big, a switch, or an ally, these conventions offer chances to be seen and cared for exactly as you are.

I want to extend a special thank you to everyone who trusted me with their vulnerability this weekend — and to Robby Fops for modeling such thoughtful care.

Looking Ahead: More Immersive Experiences at Babyfur Con (BFC)

TFF 2026 was wonderful, but it also highlighted opportunities for even deeper immersion. I’m already looking forward to Babyfur Con (BFC), where I promise a more relaxed schedule with plenty of time for meaningful exploration, connection, and those slower, more intentional experiences we all crave.

If you’re part of the AB/DL, babyfur, or diaperfur community, remember: the most powerful moments often come from patience, consent, and genuine care. Show up as your authentic self, treat others with respect, and you’ll help build the kind of community we all deserve.

Stay padded, stay safe, and I hope to see many of you at the next event — whether it’s a general furry con or a dedicated babyfur gathering. Let’s keep leading with kindness, wisdom, and love.
