Human Creativity First

1. Purpose

This Content Policy establishes Crinkle Cat Tales’ commitment to authentic human creativity. We exist to showcase, celebrate, and protect work created by people. We explicitly reject and prohibit the use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems to generate, substantially assist in creating, or replace human-authored content on this platform.

Our goal is to foster a space where original human thought, skill, emotion, and craftsmanship remain central.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All content submitted, uploaded, posted, published, or otherwise shared on Crinkle Cat Tales by users, contributors, staff, or partners.
  • Text, images, audio, video, code, designs, illustrations, music, and any other media or materials.
  • Both public-facing and private/account-related content where applicable.

3. Definitions

  • Human-Created Content: Material originated, authored, designed, composed, or performed by one or more natural persons through their own intellect, skill, labor, and creative judgment, without reliance on AI systems for generation or substantial creation.
  • AI-Generated or AI-Assisted Content: Any material produced in whole or in substantial part by generative artificial intelligence tools, large language models, image/video/audio generators, or similar systems (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Suno, Runway, and equivalent tools), whether used for drafting, generating, editing, expanding, or refining the core creative output.
  • Substantial Assistance: Use of AI that contributes meaningfully to the structure, substance, originality, or creative expression of the work (mere spelling/grammar checks or basic formatting tools that do not generate creative content are generally excluded if they do not alter authorship).

4. Core Principles

  1. Human Creativity Is Paramount
    We value originality, personal voice, lived experience, technical skill, and artistic risk taken by people. Content that reflects genuine human effort is welcomed and protected.
  2. No AI Generation or Substantial AI Assistance
    The use of artificial intelligence to create or substantially assist in the creation of content for this site is prohibited. We do not accept, host, promote, or monetize AI-generated or AI-assisted creative work.
  3. Transparency and Integrity
    Users must accurately represent the origin of their work. Misrepresenting AI-generated material as human-created violates this policy.
  4. Respect for Human Labor
    By excluding AI-generated content, we aim to protect the economic and cultural value of human creative work.

5. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are not permitted:

  • Uploading, posting, or sharing any content generated wholly or substantially by AI systems.
  • Using AI tools to draft, expand, rewrite, illustrate, compose, or otherwise create the primary creative substance of submissions.
  • Claiming AI-generated or heavily AI-assisted work as original human creation.
  • Circumventing detection methods or making false statements about the creative process.
  • Any attempt to pass off machine output as human artistry, writing, design, or performance.

6. Allowed Content and Limited Exceptions

  • Fully human-created works of any kind that meet our other community or quality standards.
  • Minor, non-creative technical aids (e.g., basic spell-check, grammar suggestions that do not rewrite substance, simple file conversion, or accessibility tools) are generally acceptable provided they do not generate or substantially shape creative content.
  • Discussion, criticism, or analysis of AI technology is permitted when the commentary itself is human-authored.

7. User Responsibilities

By submitting or posting content, you represent and warrant that:

  • The work is your original human creation or you have proper rights to human-created material you share.
  • You have not used generative AI systems to produce or substantially assist in creating the content.
  • You will cooperate with any reasonable verification requests regarding the creative process.

8. Enforcement

Crinkle Cat Tales reserves the right to:

  • Review, remove, or refuse any content that appears to violate this policy.
  • Request additional information or evidence of human authorship.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly or seriously violate this policy.
  • Take other appropriate action, including public notices or legal steps where warranted.

Detection may involve human review, technical signals, or other reasonable methods. Decisions are made at our sole discretion to protect the integrity of the platform.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Content Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
